Astero Digital Ltd (“Astero Digital”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) provides the Services through astero.in.

This Refund Policy explains how refunds, cancellations, billing reversals, and related matters are handled in connection with the Services.

This Refund Policy should be read together with our Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy. In the event of any inconsistency, the Terms and Conditions shall prevail unless applicable law requires otherwise.

1. Scope and Interpretation

Astero Digital Ltd provides a seven-day free trial for eligible services so that prospective customers may evaluate the platform before making payment.

Because a free trial is offered, all paid subscriptions, plans, add-ons, setup fees, custom work, and other paid services are generally non-refundable once payment has been made, except where a refund is required by applicable law or where Astero Digital Ltd expressly provides otherwise under a plan, promotion, billing policy, service description, or written communication.

2. Free Trial

We may offer a free trial for seven days, or for such other period as stated at the time of sign-up or in the relevant offer.

Free trial availability, eligibility, and functionality may vary by service, product, plan, promotion, or region.

We reserve the right to modify, limit, withdraw, or terminate any free trial offer at any time.

3. Non-Refundability After Payment

Once payment has been successfully processed:

  • subscription fees are non-refundable;
  • renewal charges are non-refundable;
  • partial billing periods are non-refundable;
  • add-ons and optional features are non-refundable;
  • one-time services, setup charges, migrations, onboarding, or custom work are non-refundable once purchased or once work has commenced.

If you cancel a subscription, cancellation will stop future renewals but will not entitle you to a refund for the current billing period or any unused portion of the Services.

4. Statutory Rights and Discretionary Adjustments

Nothing in this Refund Policy limits any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection law.

In limited cases, Astero Digital Ltd may, at its sole discretion or under an applicable plan, promotion, billing policy, or written offer, provide a refund, service credit, or other adjustment. Any such decision does not create an obligation to provide the same outcome in any future case.

5. Failed, Reversed, or Disputed Payments

If a payment is declined, reversed, charged back, or disputed, we may suspend or restrict access to the relevant Services while the matter is investigated and resolved.

You remain responsible for any unpaid amounts lawfully due for Services already provided.

6. Cancellation of Services

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings, where available, or by contacting us at contact@astero.in.

Unless otherwise stated, cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period.

Cancellation does not delete fees already incurred or entitle you to a refund.

7. Retention and Deletion of Customer Data

Following cancellation, termination, or expiry of a website service, we may retain customer data associated with the affected website or hosted environment for up to 15 days for account recovery, backup cycles, legal compliance, fraud prevention, dispute handling, and legitimate operational purposes.

After that period, live website customer data may be deleted without further notice unless a longer retention period is required by law or reasonably necessary for legal, security, backup, or operational purposes. Billing records, security logs, and other records that we are required or entitled to retain may be kept for longer.

You are responsible for exporting any data you wish to retain before cancellation or before the end of any applicable retention period.

8. Changes to This Refund Policy

We may amend this Refund Policy from time to time to reflect changes in law, regulation, business practices, or our Services.

Any updated version will be posted on this page together with a revised last updated date.
